How to take care of your chains

  • STAINLESS STEEL:
This material is incredibly durable, making it perfect for everyday wear. You can even shower with it and go about your normal tasks without worrying about damaging the chain. Plus, stainless steel is hypoallergenic, so it's great for those with sensitive skin. It doesn't tarnish easily and can be easily polished to maintain its shine. In fact, it contains such a small amount of nickel that it's often considered nickel-free. Cleaning your chain is a breeze - just use hot soapy water like you would with dishes. And if you want that extra sparkle, you can tumble it.

  • BRASS:
Brass is a unique alloy of copper and zinc. It's very easy to clean and also incredibly long-lasting. Over time, it develops a beautiful aged color, which adds to its charm. However, if you prefer a shiny look, you can easily clean your brass chain with lemon juice and salt dissolved in water, and ensure it's completely dry afterwards. Just remember not to wear your brass jewelry in the shower or store it in humid environments, as humidity can cause tarnishing and leave green marks on your skin. If you want to protect your skin from direct contact with the brass, a clear coat of enamel or nail polish will do the trick. And to keep your chain in the best condition, it's best to store it separately from other metals.
